UPCOMING PROJECTS:
NovaChip paving will take place in the following neighborhoods:
Hunters Crossing, Sweetbriar, Hallmark Pl., and Timberbrook Dr.
1st week of April – Crack Sealing in areas where needed.
3rd week of April – Spot Chip Patching in areas and milling where needed.
3rd/4th week of April – Placing risers in catch basins (inlets) and manholes (other prep work as needed)
4th week of April/1st week of May – begin paving.
All dates are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
The paving process will take approximately 2 weeks total to complete all areas.
AMS will hand out notification papers to all affected residents prior to the paving process. They will also be posting the streets for NO PARKING when applicable.
ROAD CLOSURE: None to report at this time.
STREET SWEEPING:Wednesday, April 3rd through Friday, April 5th.
Please remove all cars, trucks, trailers, and any other vehicles from roadways. Also please move basketball hoops away from the curbline.
Due to many factors we cannot have a set schedule for exactly when and where we will be. Sweeping should be completed in 2 to 3 days.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Bucks County will hold a Household Hazardous Waste Collection on the following dates: May 18th and October 26, 2024. The collection events run from 8:30am to 2:00pm rain or shine.

Welcome To Richland Township
Richland Township, a Township of the Second Class, was originally incorporated in 1734 and lies in the Northeast portion of Bucks County. Richland's early growth occurred in what was then known as the village of Quakertown. In 1854 the lines changed which created the Borough of Quakertown, with Richland Township encircling the Borough on all four sides.
Richland Township is home to approximately 14,000 residents. The Township covers an area of 21.05 square miles and approximately 13,700 acres through which there are 77.75 miles of Township and PennDOT owned roads.
Richland Township offers a perfect blend of suburban living with easy access to major cities. The Township is situated approximately 15 miles south of Allentown and Bethlehem; 40 miles north of Philadelphia; and 95 miles south of New York City.
