Veterans Park is Richland Township’s newest park, located at 145 East Pumping Station Road. The park has four lighted tournament-style softball fields, and two multi-purpose fields that can be used for softball, baseball, soccer, or other field sports. Additional amenities include a picnic pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills, tot lot playground, and a 1/2 mile walking path with exercise stations and park benches.
Robert 0. Keller Memorial Park is Richland Township’s original park, located next to the Township Building at 1328 California Road. It has a softball field; a multi-purpose field that can be used for softball, baseball, soccer, or other field sports; tennis courts, basketball courts, a 1/3 mile walking path, and a 1 mile wooded nature trail with exercise stations. Additional amenities include a picnic pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills, and a tot lot playground. The facilities are available for use by the residents of the Township free of charge with the exception of the pavilion, which may be rented for a nominal fee.
The pavilion is located adjacent to the Township building at Keller Memorial Park, right next to the Township nature trail.
The cost to rent the pavilion is $40: $30 for the rental, plus a $10 deposit which is refundable after the rental date if the pavilion has been cleaned. The cost also includes electricity if needed.
To rent the pavilion, please call the township at 215-536-4066. You will need to check on the availability of the pavilion on the date you would like to rent it. The pavilion is rented on a first come-first served basis.
When using Richland Township Parks, please abide by all the posted rules and regulations. Please dispose of all trash and recyclable materials in the appropriate receptacles, and clean up after your pets. All pets must be leashed. Additionally, smoking is prohibited in Richland Township Parks.
The Richland Township Park & Recreation Board sells commemorative bricks to be placed in the walkway to the Veteran's Memorial Garden at Veterans Park. The 4"x8" gray paver can be imprinted with three lines of up to 13 characters on each line.
The Township sells discount tickets to many attractions throughout the year. During the spring and summer, you can purchase tickets to amusement parks such as Dorney Park, Hershey Park, etc., as well as other attractions in the area, at the Jersey Shore, and in Virginia. In the winter months, ski lift tickets are available.
