Community Garden
Richland Township offers garden plots in our community garden which is located off Station Road. There is currently no rental fee but space is limited. The plots are approximately 10x7 feet. Please park in the area in front of or behind the One-Room Schoolhouse on Station Road. Access to the gardens is currently through a path in the treeline. We may add additional access in the near future.
Plots will be available to work on beginning April 22th. There is currently no rental fee associated with use but space is limited. Please note: there is no water currently at the site, so it is a BYOW facility.
We currently have a water collection barrel that will be available for use but dependent on rain conditions.
Each gardener is responsible for making his/her own accommodations and may use the rain barrel on a first come, first serve basis. The following rules are designed to ensure that you
and your fellow gardeners have a pleasant and productive season. Please take a moment to review them.

- Plots are reserved on a first-come first-served basis.
- Garden plots are not rented to commercial growers.
- Gardeners may not sublet or give away their plots. If
you no longer wish to garden, please contact the

- Please clean up after yourself. Richland Township will
not provide trash services.

be left in a tidy manner and within your plot limits.
